We are extremely happy to have been awarded part of the mechanical services installation by the Dodd Group Southern. It’s been a several years since we worked together to complete a residential development in Winchester.

The scheme is a mixed use development consisting of 44 apartments and 1 commercial unit. Brooke mead will provide 24 hours on site care and support for the elderly and people suffering from dementia. As well as the apartment the development includes two communal activity rooms, a café, lounge, and court yard garden and laundry room.
The development will be supplied from a ground floor centralized plant room, where a 10’000Lt cold water storage tank serves the sprinkler system, building and 2No AO Smith water heaters that provide hot water 24 hours a day. The LTHW underfloor heating system is fed via 2No 75kW ProCon MHG gas fired boilers controlled by a building management system. Other services include a CAT5 water system supplying water to internal and external watering/washing points.

We have been contracted to carry out the installation of the following services using a mixture of steel, copper and plastic pipe systems.

• Domestic water services
• LTHW heating services distribution
• 1st & 2nd fix apartments
• Cat 5 water distribution
• MCWS installation
• Plant room
• Gas installation
• Above ground SVP serving apartments.
