Arqiva's Crawley Court site in Winchester comprises of central building complex with three wings; West Wing, East Wing and Restaurant Wing plus a satellite Antenna Farm to the North.
The new data centre building is to be a standalone structure located adjacent to the West Wing.
The new data centre building is to house two separate data rack areas, one dedicated for use by Arqiva’s Broadcast and Media Diversion, the other for internal ITC Division.
Air conditioning services installations have been provided to serve the new Data Centre building located adjacent to the West Wing.
We were responsible for the installation and management of the chilled water, domestic water and ventilation systems. The initial scheme was to install the chilled water system in mild steel. Due to the constraints of the program and the possibility of value engineering the design was amended with preference to the use of Aquatherm. Working closely with the design team and specialist suppliers the project was a huge success achieving practical completion on time and under budget
