Staines Law Court, Staines
Client: ITS Building Ltd
Project: Boiler and plant replacement
Stains Law court was built in or around the 1960 sixties, the building consists of two wings containing offices, court rooms, waiting areas and break out rooms.
We were delighted to be awarded the contract by ITS Building for replacing the boiler plant and associated equipment in Jan 17.
The project involved the removal of existing Gas fired boilers, circulating pumps, associated pipework and electrical/control wiring.
Whilst the plant was being removed temporary boiler plant was installed to provide heat to the building, this enabled the offices and court proceeding to continue without disruption.
The new plant consisted of 4no gas fired Ideal IMAX boilers, Wilo circulating pumps and Trend control system. Due to the building was occupied pre-planned shutdown periods organized with the site managers to complete any extremely noisy work or services shut downs outside of normal working hours.
The project was a huge success completing hand over in early April with no disruption to the facility.
